Dr Suba Rudolph

Dr Suba Rudolph is an experienced and compassionate paediatrician specialising in eating disorders, autism, neonatal medicine and developmental behavioural disorders, including developmental delay, ADHD and learning disability.

Suba completed her undergraduate training at the University of Melbourne, with clinical training at the Royal Melbourne Hospital. Suba was awarded the T.F Ryan Medal, Dwight Prize and Exhibition Prize for Anatomy, and she was a finalist in the Sterling Prize for Surgery. Suba graduated in 2001 and followed a lifelong desire to work in the field of paediatrics. She undertook clinical training at the Royal Children’s Hospital and was admitted as a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians in 2008.

Suba’s public appointments are with Austin Health and the Mercy Hospital for Women, and she is delighted to have joined the team at Epworth.

Suba is particularly passionate about optimising the management of patients with eating disorders, and she has conducted a number of studies in the field, including in collaboration with CEED, The Centre for Excellence in Eating Disorders. Suba’s other research interests include autism, and she is honoured to be a member of the Austin Health Human Research Ethics Committee.

Suba is delighted to assist in inpatient care at Epworth Richmond, and in outpatient management at her private rooms at Epworth Freemasons. Suba also delights in teaching medical students, and she is a Clinical Tutor and Examiner for the Department of Paediatrics at the University of Melbourne. She also takes pleasure in mentoring paediatric trainees and is an Educational Supervisor of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians.
