INFORMATION FOR REFERRING PROFESSIONALS

Victorian Incisive Specialist Clinic welcomes and values the opportunity to partner with you in caring for your patients.  

Our office staff endeavour to make appointments available on a daily basis for patients. We ask that patients that require urgent care to please advise our office staff and every effort will be made to accommodate a prompt appointment.


How to refer patients:

Health Professionals can refer patients to any of our locations by Healthlink, standard email, fax or traditional mail.

Information for your patient:

Expected time frame for appointment notifications:

Upon referral, appointments are triaged by urgency. High-priority cases are scheduled first, while routine or non-urgent cases are set for later. Patients are informed of their appointment and any next steps.

Appointment information:

■ Patients will be given an appointment confirmation via phone, SMS, email or letter.

■ The patient must contact the office to reschedule if they are not able to attend.

Please ask your patient to:

■ Take a list of current medications, and all relevant radiology/pathology reports to the appointment.

■ Advise of any change in circumstance (e.g., getting worse), as this will be prioritised.
