UPDATES ON COVID-19 FOR

NEW AND EXISTING PATIENTS

As COVID-19 continues to spread in our community, we would like to advise our existing and new patients of the following guidelines when making and attending for an appointment;

We require to screen all patients prior to attendance and recommend that patients and visitors are screened for exposure and symptoms prior to attending our rooms.

If you are unwell with symptoms of fever, cough, sneezing, headache or lethargy we suggest you cancel your appointment and reschedule when symptom free.

If you have been in contact with someone with COVID-19 please get tested as soon as possible and self-isolate until you get a negative result and reschedule when symptom free.

Patients even with minor symptoms should be tested prior to allowing face to face consultation and Telehealth consultations can be arranged wherever possible.

It will assist greatly for any patient NOT attend on-site if they or anyone they live or have associated with has COVID symptoms and to come in alone unless they require a parent or carer.

Adult visitors who are not fully vaccinated must wear an N95 mask during their visit. Standard face masks continue to be mandated for children aged 8 and above.

We thank you in advance for your co-operation and understanding.

If you are well, we ask that you;

1. Fill in your VISC patient registration / VPSC paediatric registration form electronically before your initial or first appointment.

2. Do not come to your appointment any earlier than 15 minutes prior and call upon arrival at the hospital to check that your specialist is running on time.

3. Maintain a social distance of 2 metres from staff and other patients.

4. Wash your hands with the sanitiser provided before proceeding to the check- in desk.

5. Pay for your consultation using a credit card rather than cash.
